☆Ingredients

1 ribeye steak (1 to 1.5 inches thick)
1-2 teaspoons of olive oil or melted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite steak seasoning

☆Instructions:

Preparation:

Take the ribeye steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Season the Steak:

  1. Brush both sides of the steak with olive oil or melted butter for better seasoning adhesion and browning.

Generously season the steak with salt and pepper. You can also add optional seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, or your preferred steak seasoning. Make sure to rub the seasonings into the meat.
Air Frying:

  1. Place the seasoned ribeye steak in the air fryer basket with some space around it for proper air circulation.

Cook the steak at 400°F (200°C) for the following approximate times, flipping it halfway through for even cooking:
Rare: 6-8 minutes
Medium-Rare: 8-10 minutes
Medium: 10-12 minutes
Medium-Well: 12-14 minutes
Well-Done: 14-16 minutes
Cooking times may vary depending on the steak’s thickness and your air fryer model, so use a meat thermometer to ensure the desired doneness.

Resting:

  1. Once the steak reaches your preferred doneness, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest on a cutting board for a few minutes. Resting redistributes the juices, resulting in a juicier steak.

Slicing and Serving:

  1. Slice the ribeye steak against the grain into thin or thick slices according to your preference.

Serve the steak with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad.

Notes:

Adjust the cooking time for thicker or thinner steaks.
Use a meat thermometer for precision.
Account for continued cooking during resting.
For a crustier sear, sear the steak in a hot skillet after air frying.
Experiment with different seasonings.
Follow your air fryer’s specific guidelines.
Marinating, searing, basting, and resting are optional techniques.
Adjust cooking time for frozen steak.
Use caution when handling hot equipment.
Enhance flavor with compound butter.
Restore moisture with a pat of butter.
Follow cleaning instructions for your air fryer.

Perfecting your air-fried ribeye steak may take some practice, but enjoy the delicious results! 🍽️🥩
