☆Ingredients:

4 bone-in pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil (enough to cover the bottom of the pan for frying)
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp seasoned salt (plus extra to season the chops to taste)
1 tsp black pepper (plus extra to season the chops to taste)
Cayenne pepper to taste

☆Directions:

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
In a shallow dish, combine all the dry ingredients. Dredge each side of the pork chops in the flour mixture and set them aside on a plate, or you can dredge them just before frying to save on dishes.
Heat the canola or vegetable oil over medium to medium-high heat and add the butter. When the butter is melted and the oil mixture is hot, cook 2 to 3 pork chops at a time for about 4 to 5 minutes on the first side and 3 to 5 minutes on the other side. Ensure there are no pink juices remaining.
Remove the fried pork chops to a plate covered with paper towels, and repeat the process with the remaining pork chops.
Enjoy your Southern Fried Pork Chops! 🍽️
