☆Ingredients:

1 small onion
1 pound potatoes
1 medium-sized egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying

☆Instructions:

Start by peeling and grating the potatoes. Place them in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture. This will help make the pancakes crispy.

Finely chop the small onion and mix it with the grated potatoes in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, beat the medium-sized egg and season it with salt and pepper.

Combine the egg mixture with the potato and onion mixture. Mix well to ensure even distribution.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture into the pan, pressing them down gently to form pancakes.

Fry the pancakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Remove the pancakes from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.

Serve your potato and onion pancakes hot, and enjoy!

These delicious pancakes make a great side dish or even a light meal. Enjoy your meal!
