☆Ingredients:

2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Water, as needed

☆Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, chopped onions, chickpea flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well until the vegetables are coated evenly with the spices and flour.
Gradually add water to the mixture to create a thick batter. Ensure the consistency is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon but not too runny.
Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, take spoonfuls of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil. Fry in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry the pakodas until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
Repeat the frying process with the remaining batter.
Serve the crispy Aloo Pyaz ke Pakode hot with chutney, ketchup, or any preferred dipping sauce.
Enjoy your delicious Onion and Potato Fritters!
