☆Ingredients:

1 stick of butter
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into rounds
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes with juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

☆Instructions:

In a large skillet, cook the sliced sausage over medium heat until it’s hot. Once cooked, remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
In the same skillet, melt the stick of butter. Add the chopped cabbage, onion, and green pepper. Cook over medium-high heat for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), salt, pepper, and the cooked sausage back into the skillet with the cabbage mixture. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 20 to 25 minutes.
