1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
9 lasagna noodles, uncooked

•Instructions:

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef (or turkey) until fully cooked. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.
Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce, breaking if needed to fit.
Spread a layer of the cheese mixture over the noodles.
Repeat layers, finishing with a layer of sauce on top.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until noodles are tender.
Turn off the slow cooker and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before serving to allow the lasagna to set.
