☆Ingredients:

1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
Optional: additional butter or oil for cooking

☆Instructions:

Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then stir in the milk and melted butter or oil.
Combine Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Avoid overmixing; a few lumps are okay.
Heat the Skillet: Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Cook Pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
Flip and Cook: Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown on the bottom.
Repeat: Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or oil to the skillet as needed.
Serve: Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.

Enjoy
