☆Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs

☆Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or cast-iron skillet.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan or skillet and spread it evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
