Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Prepare the Potatoes:
Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water and scrub off any dirt.
Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.

Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Sprinkle sea salt over the potatoes to taste.
- Bake*
Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.
