Quick and crispy baked potatoes

★Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

4 medium-sized russet potatoes

Optional toppings: sour cream, chives, cheese, bacon bits, butter

★Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

Prepare the Potatoes:

Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water and scrub off any dirt.

Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.

Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape during baking.

  • Oil and Season*

Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Sprinkle sea salt over the potatoes to taste.

  • Bake*

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet.

Bake for about 35-45 minutes, or until the skins are crispy and a fork easily pierces through to the center. Turn them halfway through for even cooking.

  • Serve*

Remove the potatoes from the oven. Let them cool for a couple of minutes.

Cut a slit down the center of each potato and gently squeeze the ends to fluff the insides.

Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Tips*

For an even quicker version, you can microwave the potatoes on high for 5-8 minutes before transferring them to the oven to finish baking and crisping up the skin.

Adjust cooking time based on the size of the potatoes.
