Cranberry jelly salad and sesame seeds

★Ingredients

1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained

1 cup boiling water

1 package (6 oz) raspberry gelatin

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 cup cold water

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/2 cup diced apples (optional)

★Instructions

  • In a large bowl, dissolve the raspberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water.
  • Add the cold water and stir until combined.
  • Stir in the cranberry sauce and crushed pineapple.
  • If desired, add diced apples and cinnamon for extra flavor.
  • Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch glass dish and sprinkle chopped pecans on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
  • Serve chilled as a refreshing side dish.

This version is a twist with added pineapple and cinnamon for a deeper flavor profile.
